What is COLLAUM?
COLLAUM is not a treatment that 'fills in' lost collagen on the spot — it is a collagen-stimulating injectable that prompts the skin to make new collagen again. The change appears gradually over several weeks, with firmness, texture, and a natural glow building up from within. It suits people who prefer a slow, natural improvement over an instant result. Much like adding fertilizer to a garden bed and watching the plants grow on their own over time, COLLAUM places an unseen support within the skin so the body fills in its own firmness. The PLLA that acts as scaffolding is gradually absorbed, and what remains is the skin's own collagen.
Who it may be considered for
If you have the following skin concerns, COLLAUM 120 may be considered.
- Overall skin firmness has decreased and the skin looks lacking in vitality
- Fine lines together with mild skin sagging are a concern
- The skin texture feels rough and the skin's resilience and radiance have declined
- The aim is to improve skin condition gradually by inducing collagen production
As changes are expected gradually as collagen is generated, repeat sessions at regular intervals according to the skin condition are recommended for sufficient improvement.
The medical team judges suitability individually after assessing skin thickness and firmness, fine lines and texture, and the treatment area. Treatment may be restricted during pregnancy or breastfeeding, when there is active infection or inflammation in the treatment area, or in the case of an active autoimmune disease, a bleeding disorder, or a history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring. Please also inform the medical team before treatment if you are taking anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, or other medication that can affect bleeding.
What happens at the visit
1) Consultation & diagnosis: a doctor reviews the skin condition (which may include a skin diagnosis such as Markvu), medical history, and any contraindications, then plans the injection sites and volume.
2) Cleansing & numbing: after cleansing, topical anesthetic may be applied for comfort.
3) Injection: PLLA is placed into the appropriate skin layer via fine needle across multiple points (injecting across several points helps the product distribute evenly).
4) Finish: the treated area is cleaned and soothing recovery care may be applied. The session is generally short. Depending on the doctor's assessment, a short course of medication may be prescribed as a precaution.
Safety and aftercare
Treatment may be restricted during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or when there is active infection or inflammation in the treatment area. Prior confirmation is also required for an active autoimmune disease, a bleeding disorder, or a history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring. If you have experienced an allergic or hypersensitivity reaction to COLLAUM or any other ingredient used in the treatment, or are taking anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, or other medication that can affect bleeding, please inform the medical team.
Immediately after treatment, redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising may appear at the injection sites, and in most cases these gradually settle over time. Because of the nature of PLLA, papules, nodules, or lumps may rarely occur, and some may appear some time after treatment.
If a firm lump or nodule persists or grows, or if severe pain, redness, warmth, or swelling persists, medical assessment is required.

Frequently asked questions
How is COLLAUM different from a dermal filler?
Hyaluronic-acid fillers add volume immediately. COLLAUM is a collagen booster: PLLA stimulates the skin so its own collagen forms gradually rather than instantly.
When will COLLAUM results appear?
With PLLA, the temporary volume seen right after the session settles within a few days; the real change then builds over about 2–4 weeks as collagen forms. This varies between individuals.
Is COLLAUM painful, and what's the downtime?
It is an injectable treatment; topical numbing can be used for comfort. Downtime is usually about 1 day, though mild redness, swelling, or minor bruising may persist for several days.
How many sessions are needed, and can I do them as a visitor?
Because collagen is built gradually, a doctor may advise additional sessions spaced several weeks to months apart. A single session can be meaningful on its own, and a multi-session plan may also be recommended; the team can plan a schedule that fits future visits. The number is decided during consultation.
Does REPIC use genuine product?
REPIC uses genuine PLLA product in measured doses. The specific product and amount are explained during the pre-treatment consultation, where patients can also ask about the product information used.
