What is Body InMode?
Body InMode is a non-invasive body treatment that uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to gently warm the subcutaneous fat layer and the dermis, helping to care for area-specific contour and skin firmness without any cutting or needles. It is used to refine the lines of areas you are mindful of, such as the abdomen, arms and thighs, treated zone by zone. With essentially no recovery time, daily activities can be resumed right after. It is closer to a warm thermal session that glides gently across the surface while warming only the deeper layers beneath the skin, refining the lines of each area.
Who it may be considered for
Body InMode may be considered in the following situations.
- Fat and body line in specific areas such as the abdomen, upper arms, or thighs are a concern
- The aim is to manage localized fat and contour rather than overall weight loss
- Loss of skin firmness or sagging along with fat is a concern
- After childbirth or weight change, the skin feels loose and the body line feels uneven
- The aim is to manage body line and firmness together by a non-invasive method without incisions or injections
However, as this is not a treatment for weight loss itself, it is suited to managing fat and contour in specific areas rather than overall weight reduction. The medical team determines the appropriate areas and the mode, intensity, and number of sessions individually after assessing fat distribution and thickness and the degree of skin firmness and sagging.
Treatment is restricted during pregnancy or when pregnancy is possible. Treatment may also be difficult if there is active infection, inflammation, or an open wound in the treatment area. Please inform the medical team before treatment if you are using an in-body electronic medical device such as a pacemaker, or have metal implants in the treatment area.
What happens at the visit
1) Consultation: the doctor reviews the skin and fat condition and the medical history (possible pregnancy, medications, etc.), and where helpful uses diagnostic imaging such as MarkVu to assess the area, then plans the treatment area, extent and output individually.
2) Preparation: gel is applied to the area so the handpiece glides smoothly over the skin.
3) Treatment: the RF handpiece is kept in contact with the skin and moved evenly over the area to deliver energy. Gentle warmth may be felt during treatment; if anything feels too hot or sharp, telling the team immediately lets the output be adjusted.
4) Finishing: the gel is wiped off, soothing care is applied, and home-care guidance such as sun protection and moisturizing is given.
Actual treatment time is around 20 minutes per zone, and the time may vary with the number of zones and the extent. Series/package structure is explained during consultation.
Safety and aftercare
Body InMode is not recommended during pregnancy or when pregnancy is possible. Treatment may be restricted if there is active infection, inflammation, an open wound, or severe skin disease in the treatment area. If you are using an in-body electronic medical device such as a pacemaker or implantable defibrillator, or have metal implants in the treatment area, please be sure to inform the medical team in advance, as this treatment uses RF energy. If you have a history of previous procedures or surgery in the treatment area such as fillers, threads, or implants, please also inform us of the timing and location; eligibility is judged after confirming the current condition.
After treatment, temporary redness, warmth, mild swelling, or tenderness may occur, and in most cases these settle naturally over time. When a mode using suction is applied, marks or bruising may appear and can last from several days to one or two weeks depending on the individual.
If pain, redness, or swelling worsens or persists for a long time after treatment, or if skin changes such as blisters or burns or other unusual discomfort appear, medical assessment is required. Body InMode is a treatment for managing localized body contour and skin firmness rather than for weight loss itself, and the mode applied and the areas, intensity, and number of sessions are determined by the medical team after assessing your fat distribution and skin condition.

Frequently asked questions
When Will Body InMode Results Appear — and How Long Do They Last?
Body InMode stimulates both the dermis and the subcutaneous layer, so results tend to build gradually and cumulatively rather than complete in a single session. Because the heated tissue prompts collagen and elastin to reorganize over time to act on localized contour and skin firmness, a series of multiple sessions about one month apart is generally recommended. The exact number and spacing are decided after consultation according to the area and condition. As collagen change continues, improvements tend to appear gradually over weeks to months, and many people notice clearer changes in the lines and firmness of the treated zone as the series progresses; the degree and pace of change vary by individual skin and fat condition and lifestyle. To repeat, Body InMode is not a weight-loss treatment but care for localized contour and firmness, so maintaining the cared-for condition is supported when balanced eating, exercise and other lifestyle habits are kept up alongside.
Is Body InMode a weight-loss treatment?
No. It uses RF heat to stimulate the subcutaneous fat layer and the dermis to care for localized contour and skin firmness in the areas you are mindful of. Overall weight loss is supported when lifestyle care such as diet and exercise is kept up alongside.
Which areas can be treated?
Areas where the lines are a concern — such as the abdomen, arms (biceps and triceps), thighs and flanks — treated zone by zone. It is performed one zone at a time, and the suitable areas and extent are decided together at consultation.
How many sessions are needed?
Because results build gradually, a series of multiple sessions about one month apart is generally recommended. The exact number and spacing are decided after consultation according to the area and condition. It is offered as one or three sessions per zone.
Does it hurt? Is anesthesia needed?
Most people feel gentle warmth during treatment, and it is usually performed without separate anesthesia. If anything feels too hot or sharp, the output is adjusted right away. The sensation of heat varies between individuals.
