What is Aqua Peel?
Aqua Peel is a gentle deep-cleansing facial that flows water-based acidic solutions across the skin while soft suction lifts away sebum inside the pores and dead skin on the surface. Because nothing is squeezed or scraped, it tends to be low in irritation, and the whole session takes only about 10–20 minutes with essentially no recovery time. Like rinsing a clogged drain: water floats the buildup loose, then a vacuum draws it away so the pores are gently cleared — nothing is scraped out.
Who it may be considered for
If you have the following skin concerns, Aqua Peel may be considered.
- Heavy sebum production, with sebum and debris inside the pores such as blackheads and whiteheads, is a concern
- Clogged pores or comedones form frequently and pore care is needed
- Built-up dead skin cells make the skin texture rough or makeup sit unevenly
- The aim is to refine sebum and dead skin cells together for smoother skin texture
- Cleansing and exfoliation care with less irritation and downtime than a strong peel is preferred
Aqua Peel uses water-based solutions and suction to refine debris and dead skin cells on the skin surface as well as sebum inside the pores. Depending on the skin condition, it can also be used as a step to prepare the skin before other skin care or procedures.
At Repic, sebum, dead skin cells, and pore condition are assessed through consultation and skin-diagnostic equipment, and the treatment areas, intensity, and interval are then determined to suit the skin condition.
What happens at the visit
1) A softening pad is placed on the skin for about 5 minutes to prepare the pore openings (it may feel cool).
2) Step 1 AHA solution is applied to the cheeks and outer face to refine dull dead skin; the nose and the creases beside it (the central zone, sometimes called the butterfly zone) are left for the next step, since the skin there is thinner and oilier and the milder BHA is used instead.
3) Step 2 BHA solution is then concentrated on the nose and surrounding area — where pores clog most — to dissolve and suction out sebum and debris.
4) The skin is wiped with a sponge and checked for any sensitive spots.
5) Step 3 hydrating solution is applied over the whole face in two passes.
6) A soothing peel-off (rubber) gel mask may be applied to finish (composition is explained at consultation).
Safety and aftercare
If there is an active skin infection, an open wound, severe inflammation, or skin irritation in the treatment area, it is recommended to avoid that area or to treat after the skin has fully recovered.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are taking or have recently taken an oral retinoid such as isotretinoin, please inform the medical team before treatment; eligibility is judged according to the skin condition. If you have sensitive skin or have recently had a peel, laser, or other procedure that irritates the skin, treatment also proceeds after the skin's recovery has been confirmed. If you have experienced an allergic or hypersensitivity reaction to acids such as AHA or BHA or to any ingredient used in the treatment, please inform the medical team in advance.

Frequently asked questions
When Will Aqua Peel Results Appear — and How Long Do They Last?
Many people notice that the pore openings and surface feel cleared and the skin feels smoother and fresher right after the session (this varies from person to person). With dead skin refined and moisture replenished, the skin texture can feel more even, and many find makeup goes on more smoothly afterward. The degree and duration of these results vary with each person's skin type, oil production and lifestyle, and a single session does not produce a fixed outcome. Because sebum and dead skin naturally build up again over time, this is a single-session treatment that benefits from periodic care tailored to the skin to help maintain a clean condition. Consistent at-home cleansing and moisturizing habits also help the freshly refined condition last longer, and the doctor can advise on a home-care direction suited to the skin at consultation, including an appropriate interval.
Does Aqua Peel hurt?
Because Aqua Peel cleans by solution and suction rather than squeezing, it is generally low in irritation. Mild tingling or itching from the acidic solutions may still be felt, along with a cool sensation as the solution flows. Tell the therapist right away if anything feels uncomfortable.
Can makeup be worn right after Aqua Peel?
There is essentially no downtime, so the day can usually be resumed right away. Thorough moisturizing and sun protection are recommended that day, and the therapist should be consulted about the right timing for makeup based on the skin's condition.
Are the tips hygienic?
A fresh, single-use tip is used for each client, and Aqua Peel follows a standard protocol using the solutions in a set order.
How often is Aqua Peel recommended?
Sebum and dead skin naturally build up again over time, so this is a treatment that benefits from periodic care rather than a one-time fix. The right interval depends on the skin type and oil level and will be advised at consultation.
