Which approach for which scar
Acne scars are not all the same. Some are depressed and tethered to the tissue underneath, some are wide and shallow, and some have sharp edges. REPIC Scar Care is built as a combination so that the doctor can address more than one of these at the same visit.
Subcision works under depressed scars. CureJet is an injection device that works without needles and delivers material into the scarred area. Juvelook Volume is a collagen booster containing polylactic acid (PLA) that supports the skin from within. The Premium programme adds PDRN, a salmon-derived DNA ingredient, and regeneration care; the VIP programme uses Rejuran Healer and adds CO2 shouldering, in which a CO2 laser is used along the edges of scars.
Potenza combines microneedles with radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen and is listed for acne scars as well as fine lines and enlarged pores. Raised scars such as keloids are treated separately and priced by size. For a surgical or other non-acne scar, describe it when you book; the doctor examines it at the consultation before recommending anything.
Planning scar treatment around a trip
Scar treatment is usually planned as a series, so a single visit is a start rather than the whole course. Tell us your arrival and departure dates when you book; the doctor uses them to decide what can sensibly be done on this trip and what a follow-up plan could look like.
Try to come early in your stay rather than the day before you fly, so the first days of redness or swelling can settle while you are still in Seoul. After Potenza, wait 24–48 hours before makeup, avoid saunas, heavy sweating and hot showers for 48 hours, and use sunscreen daily. Downtime for REPIC Scar Care depends on the combination and is explained before treatment.
